Wyatt Sample Affiliations: He is a member of the National Association of Woodcarvers, St. Charles Area Woodcarvers and the Mid-Missouri Woodcarvers. Interests:Wyatt enjoys caricature carving but also does realistic carving and relief carving. Carving Background: Although he attempted some carving previously, his carving really took off when he took a class with Gerald Sears and joined a woodcarving club in 2002. Since then he has taken classes from Harley Schmitgen, John Engler and Lynn Diel. Additionally, he has learned many techniques from books, tapes, cds, and websites. Thoughts: Getting involved in clubs and taking classes is a great way to make quick improvements in your carving.
