Classes are held on the scenic Doane University campus. Check out the Doane University web site to preview the campus. Those attending will be staying on campus in the dorms. All housing and class buildings are air conditioned, wifi is available, as well as laundry facilities.
As many of you know, there are few people nicer and more worth meeting than carvers. Although it is an intense week of carving, there is plenty of time to meet and get to know carvers from all over the United States and Canada.

Creede Woodcarvers Rendezvous

The Creede Woodcarvers Rendezvous Colorado Event was the brainchild of Fran and Ivan Vanaken in 1991. They invited members of the Colorado Carver Club and Pikes Peak Whittlers to Creede to an event in the old school gym. After the underground community center was completed in 1994, the event was moved into that venue. Creede is a beautiful location with great fishing, rock hunting, ATVing, the Creede Repertory Theatre, fun shopping and great food.
Renegade Woodcarvers Roundup Fall 2026

Cost: $275 for 5 days Location: James E Ward Ag Center, Lebonon TN

The Renegade Roundup will be held at the James E. Ward Ag Center in Lebanon, Tennessee, just 23 miles East of Nashville, off Interstate 40, exit 239 north, then 1 1/2 miles on right.

The Renegade Roundup brings together 5 nationally known caricature carving instructors. Rich Wetherbee, Bruce Ankeny, Gary Falin, Kevin Applegate, Marvin Daniels.
Students will carve with a new instructor each of the 5 days.
